Description
Here is a Sculpin pattern set up on a shank with a swing hook. Similar to the “Mohawk” Sculpin, this pattern also utilizes a rabbit strip over the top of a Fish Skulls Sculpin Helmet. This fly is meant to swing those deep runs, or heavy flows for Steelhead and other large predators, so it has a lot of flash tied in as an under wing. I use ostrich herl to try to create the fins, and a little UV red ice dub and polar chenille to imitate the gill pack.
Currently I only have this in olive, but let me know if you would like a different color scheme.
