Description
My take on the Marabou Muddler. This is tied for saltwater use as a smaller fly that will push water at or near the surface. Tied on an Allen SW002 hook in size 1. I tried to bring some components of a more traditional muddler minnow to this fly. I use a short contrasting tail of marabou, then wrap the body with gold diamond braid. A wing of olive marabou is then added as well as grizzly hackle tips for lateral lines, and an over-wing of peacock herl.
